Dylan’s goal is to improve outcomes for justice-involved individuals by putting APDS's critical tool sets within reach. He leads and oversees APDS sales activities for half the nation. Dylan joined the APDS Sales Team in 2020, after six years of service as APDS's Director of Implementation. Prior to this, Dylan worked in nonprofit and social impact program design, partnerships, and operations at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and other organizations in Indonesia and Timor-Leste. Dylan has a Bachelor's Degree from Princeton University. Fun fact! The one and only race he has ever run in was the New York City Marathon.

Antonio fulfills the APDS mission because he understands the power of education which helps people become better citizens, and he believes through knowledge and hard work, opportunities open to allow individuals to achieve new levels of career and personal growth. Antonio has attended the Lincoln College of Technology, and completed the Georgetown University Pivot Program. Currently Antonio is a help desk coordinator and aims to prepare individuals for a smooth transition into society. Prior to APDS Antonio served in a customer service capacity for a private commercial cleaning company and for a suicide prevention organization. Fun Fact! Antonio was the quarterback of his high school football team!

Vani is motivated to exceed expectations because she believes in the APDS mission and her APDS colleagues. Vani earned her Master of Science in Computer Science from New York Institute of Technology. Currently, Vani is the Quality Assurance Manager and aims to ensure that products and services meet the established standards set by the company.

Katie fulfills the APDS mission in her focus on providing justice-involved individuals the best possible opportunity for success, upon community reentry. She is a Melbourne, Australia native and currently resides in the state of New Jersey. Katie holds Bachelor’s and Master's degrees in Criminal Justice and Criminology. Currently Katie is an Implementation Specialist and trains clients on the access and use of our services, while building a library of resources to smoothen the customer experience. Fun Fact! Katie has worked in juvenile justice in multiple countries.

Lauren fulfills the APDS mission currently as Tier II Systems Specialist and offers technical support to individuals and ensures a positive customer experience. She is a technical wizard on site and prior to APDS, Lauren maintained software for museums. In her spare time, Lauren maintains community libraries for people of all ages from our youngest readers to seniors.

Tyler fulfills the APDS mission because he wants to use education technology to create social impact and he believes justice-involved individuals have been underserved for far too long. He is an Iowa native and currently resides in Pennsylvania. Tyler holds a bachelor’s degree in business and a master's degree in education. Tyler is the Director of APDS Product and aims to maximize the value of our learning experience. Fun Fact! Tyler enjoys producing music, growing his own food, and traveling anywhere he can.

Amy’s passion to improve outcomes for incarcerated people living with mental illness drives her to help change corrections for good. Amy Corbett earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management & Technology from Syracuse University and a Master of Science in Forensic Science, Psychiatry & Behavioral Science from Syracuse University. Currently Amy is the Customer Success Manager serving the New York City Department of Corrections. Amy manages and maintains customer relationships from the client executive team through to front line leadership. During Amy’s free time she enjoys watching documentaries, learning, and volunteering with underrepresented populations.

Emily fulfills the APDS mission because she deeply values the mission and heart of APDS to change corrections, for good. She believes we are here to serve people. Emily is a Tennessee native and earned a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Studies. Currently, Emily is a Customer Success Manager and helps customers realize the full benefit of the APDS solution deployed in their jurisdiction. She works with jurisdiction staff to empower learners to prepare for a successful reentry to society. Prior to APDS Emily was with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for 11 years. Emily loves the great outdoors and in her spare time can be found camping with her husband and two children.

Diana believes in the APDS mission to reduce recidivism. Diana earned a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies and Public Policy. Currently, Diana is a Customer Support Associate and aims to keep our customers satisfied through excellent client support with our platform and various integrated partners. Prior to APDS Diana worked for a private medical practice and interned for a non-profit organization.

Ramon is motivated to help fulfill the APDS mission because he loves helping people succeed, no matter what people are going through or what stage of their life they are in. Ramon has both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Accounting and is an accounting analyst at APDS. Ramon is a native of Miami Florida and currently resides in Maryland. He aims to learn something new everyday. Ramon enjoys contributing to a world-class finance and accounting function. He supports the Controller and CFO with day to day accounting operations of the company and a stellar positive attitude. Ramon has a very creative and visual mindset and enjoys volunteering in his spare time.

Adam fulfills the APDS mission because he believes everyone deserves a second chance. He earned his MBA in 2018 and has many years of experience in education working with a variety of publishers from large scale to boutique firms. He has a deep understanding of state standards and the needs of the various populations within corrections. Adam is the Vice President of Sales and aims to lower recidivism rates through education, rehabilitation, job skills, and reentry planning. Fun Fact! Adam enjoys making his own wine!

Kiwang joined APDS in October 2018 as Lead Software Engineer. Kiwang is responsible for all aspects of the APDS product software development and deployment, including the evaluation and adoption of new technologies. Prior to joining APDS, Kiwang specialized in the design and development of robust, scalable middle-tier and back-end solutions for the telecommunications and payment services industry. Kiwang has an M.S. in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in Computer Science from Rutgers University—New Brunswick

Jessica fulfills the APDS mission because she believes everyone deserves a second chance. She is a Boston native and currently lives in Tampa Florida. Jessica went to Umass Amherst and graduated with a degree in Political Science and earned her Masters in Business and Policy from Georgetown University. Currently, Jessica is the Vice President of Policy and Government Relations and aims to advance the APDS policy agenda nationwide. Fun fact, Jessica’s favorite places to be: the slopes or the tennis court.

Michael fulfills the APDS mission because he believes everyone deserves equal access to quality education. He is a Yonkers native and currently lives in Manhattan. Michael went to Loyola University of Chicago and graduated with Bachelor’s degrees in History and Communications. Currently Michael is the Partnership account manager for APDS and ensures content partners are well-integrated onto the APDS platform and tracked for efficacy and engagement with students.

Wil fulfills the APDS mission because he believes that incarcerated individuals deserve the opportunity to better themselves and APDS provides a vehicle to empower people. He has worked in various project management, proposal writing and sales and support roles within the insurance and software industries. Currently, Will is a technical writer and collaborates with internal and external partners to create proposals and share the APDS story. Wil has a degree in Political Science from Central Connecticut State University a Minor in Economics and is Six Sigma Black Belt certified. Fun fact, in his spare time, Wil is a blockchain and cryptocurrency enthusiast.

Danielle fulfills the APDS mission by identifying opportunities for improvement and delivering solutions to learners' needs. Previously she was at Planned Parenthood Federation of America and a telehealth start-up developing mobile applications. Danielle has a bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Master in Arts in TESOL from Hunter College. On weekends she can be found running in Prospect Park or exploring NYC on her Vespa.

Krystal fulfills the APDS mission because she is determined to make a difference in the lives of those that are incarcerated. She has a masters degree in Business from State University of New York. As a Customer Support Associate, Krystal supports clients with the APDS platform and various integrated partners.

Rachel has over 20 years of customer service experience and over 10 years of information systems experience. She currently serves as a Customer Service Associate. Rachel provides client support with the APDS platform, identifying and escalating bugs and enhancements and provides personalized support to clients. Rachel has a Masters of Science in Hospitality & Tourism Management, and a Graduate Certificate in Hospitality & Tourism Technologies.

Tim Murray is motivated to guide and serve APDS because he believes education is the great equalizer. Throughout his career, Tim has focused on market adoption of technology – first from analog to digital, then digital to the internet, and now focused on the possibilities of Big Data and artificial intelligence. He first worked with APDS in his capacity as Executive in Residence for APDS’s Series A leader ReThink Education. Most recently, Tim served as President and Chief Operating Officer of K12 Inc., where he led the company’s two largest operating divisions: Managed Public Schools – a network of 70+ virtual charter schools; and Fuel Education, which sold content, curriculum, and services to traditional brick-and-mortar schools. Tim began his career at AT&T, and over twenty years was promoted to positions of increasing responsibilities, including in sales, marketing, operations, engineering, and product management. As President of Business Network Services, he was responsible for AT&T’s $22B business for wireline and data services to business customers. He received a B.S. and M.S. in Management and Industrial Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Erick is a graduate of Brown University and an alumnus of the Americorps organization. Currently, Erick is the Director of Technology and is responsible for making sure APDS' platform operates: when, where and how our end users need it to. He manages our tablet hardware solution, our wifi and cellular connectivity strategies, our cloud infrastructure and our security approach. He scales up APDS’ technologies to make sure they can meet the needs of APDS' growing user base. When Erick is not building and programming, he is enjoying the great outdoors while rock climbing or running.

“When each of us can have access to enriching education we can realize our gifts and can use them to serve the wider community.” - Dr. Cindy Parrish Cindy fulfills the APDS mission because she is at her personal best when she helps others realize their gifts, supporting us all to help change the system of mass incarceration. Cindy’s 30-year career in university and secondary education has encompassed the teaching of writing, literature, digital arts and digital writing, videography, and film editing. She’s also worked extensively with teachers training them how to use writing and digital arts in the classroom. Cindy holds a B.S. in Communication Arts and Biology from Cornell University, and a Doctor of Arts in Composition Theory and Creative Writing from The University at Albany. Dr. Parrish is the Product Content Manager at APDS, creating educational, job-skill training, wellness, and re-entry programming, training corrections staff and integrating their job requirements and services into programming.

Gabriel fulfills the APDS mission because it is very fulfilling and he knows he is making a positive impact in the world. Gabriel attended Brooklyn College and earned a degree in biology. Prior to his role at APDS he was employed by Barnes and Noble, Loccitane, and the US Polo Association. Currently Gabriel is the Inventory & Logistics Analyst and aims to improve our customer experience by ensuring timely delivery of goods. Gabriel is a dog lover and crypto enthusiast.

Mindy fulfills the APDS mission because she loves hearing and seeing those "wow" moments when a student realizes the opportunity that the APDS programs provide. Mindy earned an MBA from George Washington University and a MS in Systems Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. Mindy has over 15 years experience in the areas of Implementation and Post Implementation/Customer Success, specifically in Education Technology from her years at Pearson and Schoolnet where she led teams managing implementations for top 125 school districts and states. As Director of Implementation, Mindy oversees the implementation process needed to deliver products and services to clients. In her spare time, Mindy likes to brave the slopes with her family.

Jon holds a Bachelors from Nebraska in Horticulture & Entrepreneurship, and a Masters from Nebraska in Business Analytics. Prior to his role at APDS he held professional roles in e-commerce, real estate, and horticulture. Currently, Jon is a Business Development Analyst and identifies and onboards, and supports potential partners.

Audra is motivated to fulfill the APDS mission because the idea that we can reduce recidivism and change lives is both exciting and meaningful. Audra earned her Bachelors in Political Science from St. Michaels and her Masters of Business Administration from the McColl School of Business at Queen's University. Audra is an experienced leader in the Customer Success arena with 20 years of experience building teams that strive for excellence. She has developed highly effective teams of tech support specialists supporting clients ranging from The Whitney Museum to Six Flags Amusements. Currently Audra is the Director of Support and she leads the Customer Success Team. With technical expertise she ensures every learner can succeed and reach their highest potential. In her spare time, Audra is an advocate for Survivors of Domestic Violence and serves as the President of the Board of Directors of the Family Justice Center Foundation. She is dedicated to eradicating Domestic Violence and helping victims become survivors.

Doug fulfills the APDS mission because education and improving the lives of other people is his personal passion. Prior to APDS Doug spent almost ten years as a Database Administrator and DevOps engineer. Doug attended California Polytechnic State University. Currently Doug is a Cloud Engineer at APDS and addresses network connections, cloud infrastructure, security, and system connectivity. In his spare time, Doug plays basketball in a local league.

Andre is motivated to bring the APDS mission to life because playing a small part in giving someone else self-worth is extremely rewarding. He has spent most of his professional career in hybrid Accounting & FP&A roles with responsibilities ranging daily operational accounting to executive level financial and metrics reporting. As Manager of Accounting & Operations at American Prison Data Systems, PBC, Andre oversees operational accounting and financial reporting. Formerly, Andre was the Assistant Controller at Apartment Therapy a digital advertising organization in the Lifestyle space. Andre graduated from the St. Lawrence University with a degree in Economics. In his spare time, you may find Andre setting up a play for the win on the soccer field.

Chris advances the APDS mission because he believes that education is the most powerful tool to reduce recidivism in America and APDS is the best company to deliver quality rehabilitative content. Chris is an author, and artist outside of APDS and recently authored the Master Plan. As the Director of Engagement, he is focused on workforce development and actively engages and supports people impacted by the criminal justice system. Fun fact! Chris only sleeps 4 hours a day.
